Help to Buy: ISA

This is a great scheme that helps you save with a 2.00% tax-free p.a./AER variable. You can open this Cash ISA with up to £1,200 in the first calendar month, a calendar month being the start to end of each month. During the following months, you can then save up to £200 per calendar month.

This account is designed for first time buyers saving for their first UK residential property. The name ‘help to buy’ is due to the 25% bonus incentive from the Government on your savings. The minimum bonus is £400 based on savings of £1,600 with a maximum bonus of £3,000 based on £12,000 saved. There are some rules :

  • Withdrawals are permitted but won’t qualify for a Government bonus
  • This is not a flexible ISA so subject to subscription limits

Internet Saver

You can save from as little as £1, up to a maximum of £1 million at 0.50% gross p.a/AER variable. With this account you can:

  • Opt to receive an ATM card to withdraw money at any LINK ATM
  • Make as many withdrawals online as you like
  • Monthly and annual interest options
  • View your balance and transfer money online whenever you choose

E-ISA

You can open this account with just £10 and save at 0.50%p.a./AER variable.
With this account you can:

  • Transfer in ISAs from other providers - charges may apply so check with your existing provider
  • Make withdrawals online by transferring money to any account you choose
  • Annual interest
  • View your balance, recent transactions and statements online

Easy Access Savings Account

This is a cash card saver meaning you’ll be able to withdraw money from it at any ATM. You can earn interest on your savings at the rate of 0.25% gross p.a./AER variable and open it with £10 or more.
With this account you can:

  • Make as many withdrawals as you like - the minimum operating balance is zero
  • Register to view your balance, manage payments and transfer money online whenever you choose
  • Get 24-hour access to your money with a card you can use at any LINK ATM
  • Receive interest once a year

Triple Access Saver

Much like a traditional savings account. This is a passbook account. With the Triple Access Saver you can save from £100 up to £2 million and add to the account whenever you like. You will earn interest at 0.60% gross p.a./AER variable. With this account you can:

  • Close your account with no loss of interest by using one of your 3 withdrawal days
  • Manage your account with a Passbook in any of their branches
  • Make withdrawals on 3 days each account year based on the anniversary of the account opening

RSPCA Saver

This savings account is open to both adults and children and you can save from £10 up to £2million.

With this account you can support the RSPCA as they’ll donate 0.25% of the average daily balance in all RSPCA accounts to the RSPCA each year. You can also:

  • Manage your account with a Passbook in any of their branches
  • Make withdrawals on any four days each account year based on the anniversary of the account opening
